This is definitely a very cool necklace~! It is pretty resistent so you don't have to worry about it's fragility. Also, you press the light button once, it keeps on until you press it again, then it turns off. Basically for me that's the "light switch" that other reviews said it didn't have. This is a very cute accessory. Even though I've never watched the show at all. The necklace reminded me of an anime series called Sailor Moon and she had a star locket which looks similar. The Chain was a bit big and even though I thought the star would be bigger it's still a perfect size. Every time I look at it I smile, which means it was worth the money and the wait.
